Homeopathy is a pharmaceutical science that has been in existence for nearly 200 years. The theory of Homeopathy is “like cures like.” Two of the active ingredients of the suppositories, Candida Parapsilosis and Candida Albicans, are actual dead cells of the yeast fungus 28 times diluted. The other active ingredient is Pulsatilla, which is a windflower from Mexico, used to help relieve the vaginal itching and burning associated with yeast infections. In application of the homeopathic theory, when these microdoses of ingredients are introduced into the body, they spark the immune system to create antibodies that attack and kill the yeast itself. The process can be compared to a smallpox vaccine, which consists of the actual virus itself, and when introduced into the body, will spark the immune system to create antibodies to fight the virus.
