As a self-described “fitness geek,” I couldn’t resist buying Tom Bohager’s new book, Enzymes: What the Experts Know, when I saw it on the book store shelf. Over the years, I’ve heard the term “enzyme” mentioned several times but never really knew what it meant. I didn’t know what I was missing! Bohager’s comprehensive survey is a credible and entertaining resource for all things enzyme. They’re responsible for eliminating toxins, keeping you healthy, and basically every other cell function in your body! Along with outlining the enzyme’s purpose and history, Bohager shares numerous health tips and professional advice. For instance, properly taking care of your enzymes can make you healthier, prettier, and live longer! This is the best book you never knew you always needed to read!

    An Overview of Enzymes
As I reflect back on pages 7 through 116 some portions read like a health book. Examples being the chapters on the Importance of PH Balance and another chapter on Microflora…

A friend reccomended Enzymes: What the Experts Know, to me so I decided to check it out and I was actually pleasantly surprised. The book was very informative but still managed to be understandable at the same time. It goes into great detail about how you can maintain optimal health and ultimately improve your “health span” and live to your full potential of 110 years old! This is a credible book that explains what enzymes are, their history, and the differences between animal and plant enzymes. Enzymes are a new trend in the health concious world, and even among mainstream markets and this book effectively conveys the appropriate information to help people improve their quality of life through the knowledge of enzymes.

At my local health food store I picked up 3 Enzymedica Product CDs. Two CDs were about all the Enzyme products and the 3rd was about their Probitic. While listening to one CD, Tom talked about his book a little. I was impressed listening to the CDs and couldn’t wait to read the book.
The book goes into enough detail for someone who is a non medical type to learn and understand all about enzymes. The book doesn’t specify to use Enzymedica products and lists several brands with web sites for further exploration. I plan on reading the book another 2 times for my comprehensive knowledge. My wife and I are currently using Enzymedica’s Muco Stop, Digest and Virus Stop. The Muco Stop is the fastest acting product. When I get a runny nose, I take two capsules on an empty stomach and in half and hour no more sniffles. After taking Digest, I no longer am tired after meals.
